The transition to a green economy requires practical tools, not just theory.
The “Empowering Youth for Green Careers” (EYGC) project is currently developing a suite of three Open Educational Resources (OER) designed to help NGOs, SMEs, and vocational schools measure and improve their environmental impact. Below you will find the development roadmap and technical details for each output.

The Eco-Friendliness Questionnaire
Activity 1
Description: A digital diagnostic tool designed to assess the ecological maturity of a workplace. The questionnaire consists of approximately 50 questions covering energy usage, waste management, and digital carbon footprints.
Methodology: Developed through design-thinking workshops in Riga, this tool uses a scoring system to help organizations identify their ‘Green Gaps’. It is currently being piloted with 150 NGOs and SMEs across the partner countries.

The Green Actions Generator
Activity 2
Description: An interactive matrix hosted on the Trello platform and embedded in this website. This tool functions as a project management board for sustainability. It categorizes actions under the 5R Framework: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, and Recycle.
Smart Adaptation: Originally conceived for manufacturing, MENDIZ has expanded the tool’s scope to include actions for creative workshops, offices, and service-based SMEs. It includes gamified elements to engage employees in ‘Eco-Challenges’.
Format: Interactive Trello Board / Web Matrix.
