Menų ir dizaino mokymo centras (MENDIZ)

We are proud to work alongside our Lithuanian partner, Menų ir dizaino mokymo centras (MENDIZ). Their role in the EYGC project is crucial because they remind us that the “Green Transition” isn’t just about spreadsheets and energy bills – it’s about Design Thinking.

At MENDIZ, students learn vocational skills in ceramics, jewelry, photography, and visual advertising. But how does this connect to green careers?

It’s about the lifecycle. When a student learns to craft jewelry from recycled precious metals (urban mining), they are practicing the Circular Economy. When a photographer learns to document nature without disturbing ecosystems, they are practicing Environmental Stewardship.

MENDIZ brings this creative, human-centric perspective to our project. They ensure our tools don’t just speak to engineers, but to creators, artists, and makers. Because if we want a sustainable future, we have to design it first.
