Today, June 3rd, the EYGC partners from Latvia 🇱🇻, Norway 🇳🇴 and Lithuania 🇱🇹 jumped on a consortium call to officially kick off our third and final project milestone: Activity 3!
After successfully launching our Green Audit (https://eygc.eu/the-green-audit/) and the Green Actions Generator (https://eygc.eu/green-actions-generator/), we are now taking all that data and experience to develop our most comprehensive resource yet: an e-book Guidebook titled ‘How to create green workplaces in NGOs and SMEs’.
Led by our Norwegian partner, Da Vinci Nordic, this comprehensive manual will serve as a step-by-step curriculum for transitioning your workspace. We will be gathering best practices and diving deep into practical solutions across several key areas:
✅ Digital Practices: From minimizing your digital carbon footprint to paperless workflows.
✅ Resource Conservation & Energy Efficiency: Maximizing natural light and reducing utility consumption.
✅ Waste Reduction: Applying the less/zero waste concept in daily operations.
✅ ‘Eco-Eureka’: Weekly actionable ideas for greening company processes!
Next step, our teams will be collaborating and preparing for our upcoming in-person meeting in Oslo, Norway, to finalize the design and content.
